Cycling

This online group serves to provide a space for people who enjoy bicycling and also happen to be living with arthritis. We invite those who are looking for support, education, and connection to join us and meet others who share a passion for cycling whether you ride an indoor bike, a beach cruiser, a racing bike or something in between.
Come together for volunteer, peer-led sessions on a variety of topics and group activities as it relates to riding a bike and living with arthritis. Arthritis patients, caregivers, and friends are welcome to join to share tips and tricks about how to safely enjoy cycling regardless of your physical activity level. Whether you use a stationary exercise or bike through your neighborhood for fun or are training for a road race, there is a place for you here. Come join the conversation.

Come kick off a BRAND NEW Connect group by chatting with others who love to cycle and happen to also be affected by arthritis!
At this launch event we will talk about the future of this group - what topics you'd like to cover, when you'd like to meet, etc. and get to know each other a bit through some open discussion. Future topics may include tips and tricks to training through arthritis challenges, bike-specific hacks and accessibility tricks, nutrition, etc. We want to know what questions you have and challenges you face while riding with arthritis, or supporting someone who does.
We'd love to have cyclists of all types join - whether you're training for a serious race, getting in some miles in a stationary bike group class, cruising around the neighborhood with your kids, or if you're someone who is isn't riding yet but is interested in the sport! After all, cycling can be an extremely arthritis-friendly activity!
Friends, Family, and Care Partners are always welcome to join meetings. We respect privacy and confidentiality and do not record our online meetings.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom link to participate via video or phone. Being on video is not required, nor having a Zoom account. A confirmation email will be sent upon registration with the Zoom link. If you do not receive the registration confirmation, please check your spam folder. Please plan to log in a few minutes early.
