Based on feedback from Connect Group members that you would like more opportunities to connect and converse informally, the facilitators of the Northeast Ohio, Mahoning Valley and Medina groups are jointly scheduling quarterly “Open Mic” sessions. These will allow us to share whatever is most important in our arthritis journeys – what we’re struggling with, successes, opportunities to ask for help or advice, etc. This Saturday we will start off talking about holiday tips and hacks and have an open discussion on how not to allow arthritis to throw a wrench in our holidays. We can discuss whatever you would like to discuss. Some things I think about when I think of the holidays is cooking, cleaning, shopping for gifts, decorating, hosting at my house, attending events and traveling for events. That is a lot to think about in addition to how you will handle it all with your arthritis. Let’s help each other get through the holidays with our “open mic” session.
