We are delighted to have Dr. Gene Lee from Cedars Sinai’s Pain Center joining us for a conversation about Pain Management. Chronic pain can have a broad impact on life and well-being. If not adequately managed, it can lead to loss of mobility, isolation, depression, anxiety, disability and relationship stress. We will explore some of the diverse options for pain management to ease arthritis and the value of having a pain management specialist on your healthcare team. Dr. Lee completed his pre-med undergraduate work at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He then went on to attend medical school at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. This was where his interest in anesthesiology and pain management was first piqued. Dr. Lee completed his residency training at the historic Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He then received his fellowship training in pain medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where he has been an attending physician ever since. After the presentation, there will be time to connect with others. Friends, Family, and Care Partners are always welcome to join.
