We are pleased to have Dr. Edward Hui from UCLA East West Medicine joining us for a presentation about Integrative East-West Medical Approach to Pain and Self-Management. Chronic pain can have a broad impact on life and well-being. If not adequately managed, it can lead to loss of mobility, isolation, depression, anxiety, disability and relationship stress. We will explore some of the diverse options for pain management to ease pain including non-drug strategies. Edward Kwok-Ho Hui, MD is the Director of East-West Primary Care at CEWM and Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research where he is active in clinical care and teaching as a general internist with background in integrative East-West medicine and geriatric medicine. After our presentation, there will be time to connect with others. Friends, Family, and Care Partners are always welcome to join meetings.
