Parents of High School Students with JA VIRTUAL Connect Group – Coming to Terms With Your Child’s Diagnosis
Join us Sunday, January 7th at 8 pm Eastern / 7 pm Central / 6 pm Mountain / 5 pm Pacific for our next 90 minute session. We are delighted to have Jessica Auslander PhD, Mental health professional, JA warrior and JA parent, joining us and she will share advice on how to help you and your child deal with grief. Are you fighting the thoughts of “What did I do wrong?” and “I’ll never be able to deal with this.”? It can be overwhelming dealing with a chronic disease along with everything life throws at you. Jessica will help us with these feelings.
After our presentation, there will be time to connect with others. Friends, Family, and Care Partners are always welcome to join meetings. We respect privacy and confidentiality and do not record our online meetings.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom link to participate via video or phone. Being on video is not required, nor having a Zoom account.
