Raising a Child with JA Connect Group: JA Kids and Transitions: Preparing for Independence
Join us as we welcome Dr. John Bridges, a combined adult/pediatric rheumatologist with Children's of Alabama, to share strategies and information on how we can help prepare our JA kids for independence. As the founder and director of the Bridge to Adult Care from Childhood for Young Adults with Rheumatic Disease (BACC YARD) Program, Dr. Bridges is dedicated to patient empowerment, skill development and continuity of care for JA kids. Parents of JA kids of all ages are encouraged to join and bring their questions and strategies!
