Hello Houston Connect Group! You may have seen the 2022 Walk to Cure Arthritis Houston listed in upcoming events -- I encourage you to register your Walk team today! This year's theme is 'Rock the Walk' to honor those who are the 'rock' for arthritis warriors...their caregivers. We're also excited to be able to rock the walk in-person for the first time in two years!
Because the organization as a whole is greatly looking forward to this year's WTCA, a National Kickoff is being hosted on February 22nd. Join us as we Kickoff the 2022 Walk to Cure Arthritis events across the country. This high-energy event begins our official Walk season with Honoree Warrior speakers, empowering stories, an exciting atmosphere, and a powerful mission call to action to help the Arthritis Foundation conquer arthritis. We are ready to ROCK the WALK in 2022! RSVP here.
The Houston Kickoff is being held on March 10th at Barkley's Midtown and you're all invited. Join us to connect with other AF supporters, Walk participants, and our Walk Honorees. RSVP by March 5th.
If you have any questions about Walk or the Kickoff, feel free to reach out to me here or via email: anhnguyen@amplifiedmktg.com. (I'm the Houston Leadership Board Chairperson).
Hi everyone,
I've been recently diagnosed with bilateral shoulder osteoarthritis. Mild pain for yrs but a drastic increase the last 6 months. I'm struggling with accepting it and going down rabbit holes of research in vain. I'd love to reach out to others for support, guidance, managment advice and HOPE. I'm 46 and live north of houston. I'm looking for in person or chat or virtual meetings to connect.
I appreciate any direction anyone may provide.
Thank you,
Dave
