Live Yes! Connect Groups for JA Parents provide local connections, education and empowerment for parents and caregivers with children living with rheumatic disease. JA Parents come together for professional and volunteer-led sessions on a variety of topics and group activities as it relates to raising a child with arthritis.
Participants gain skills to advocate for their child, help their child develop self-management skills and discover strategies for daily living. These groups are part of an expanding range of Arthritis Foundation resources that provides personalized help & support to parents who have a child/teen with a childhood rheumatic disease.

Hi all, I'm becca, a 25yo from Chesapeake. I have had psoriasis since I was 14 and was just recently diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. Looking to meet others in the area with similar struggles.
Hi there, our daughter Nora was diagnosed with oligoarticular JIA a year ago; she his experiencing her first flare since that time. We are looking to connect with other parents who are going through this to learn about their experience.
My daughter Abby was diagnosed at 20mos old. She'll be 11 at the end of the month. How old is your daughter?
Hi all! My 9 year old daughter was diagnosed when she was 1 and a half years old. We've seen periods of exacerbation and remission, and right now she's having a tough time. Looking to find a some kiddos going through similar experiences to connect with! Any interest out there? :)
Hi, Roberto! I'm not sure why I didn't receive a notification when you posted this in February. My daughter is 10yo, diagnosed at 20mos. Welcome to the group. We have a few events coming up, including a 2-part series on Returning to School Safely and a meet and greet type virtual event.
Hi I'm Kristi. My 7 year old son was just diagnosed in December with JIA. We are starting his injections this coming week and am looking for support in a group of people going through similar circumstances.
I'm not sure why I never received a notification when you posted this way back in January. How are the injections going?

Hello and glad to be here. 30 year Navy vet; working as contractor on Naval Base Norfolk; RA/OA going on 11 years. Just heard about this app through th RA Magazine and thought I would give it a try.
