Live Yes! Connect Groups offer local connections, education, and empowerment. Managing pain and a chronic illness is challenging enough without the additional stresses of young adulthood. Young people with arthritis can tell you what it's like to have real life interrupt your dreams. They can tell you about well-laid plans going bust. They can tell you about resetting their goals, reinventing themselves, dealing with unpredictability, and having to make tough decisions related to chronic illness. Does that sound somewhat daunting, especially for adolescents and young adults? It is.
We offer a place of understanding and encouragement for young adults living with arthritis and their loved ones. Group participants become self-advocates, develop self-management skills, and learn how to not just survive life with arthritis but to thrive.
