College can be hard to navigate on its own, but managing a chronic illness while going to school can be overwhelming. This Connect Group will focus on ways to help manage an illness while in school, offer a safe space for students who want to share their experiences, and cover topics that would be important for any student entering higher academia with a disability. While this group is run by undergraduates we are open to anyone who feels like they might benefit from the community, including but not limited to high school students and graduate students. We'd love to have your input so please feel free to join us for our monthly meetings.
Live Yes! Connect Groups offer local connections, education, and empowerment. Adults living with arthritis from our local community come together for professional- and volunteer-led sessions on a variety of topics, as well as fun group activities.
We offer a place of understanding and encouragement for both people living with arthritis and their loved ones. Group participants become self-advocates, develop self-management skills, and learn how to not just survive life with arthritis but to thrive.
