I am a 21 year old. I was diagnosed with RA after I turned 20. I also suffer from fibromyalgia. Is there a way to live life with RA?
Good Morning everyone. I joined your group this morning. I was diagnosed with RA in 2008 and I live in Florida. Florida is not a good place to live with RA due to the humidity. When I am in another state in the summertime I feel much better than I do when I'm home. I was born in Tennessee and am thinking of moving there after my husband retires. Can anyone tell me if they feel the humidity in the Nashville area during the summer is bothersome to them?
I was just diagnosed with Osteoarthritis this month and live in TN and work in Kentucky. This summer has really been humid and painful with all the rains and it’s been more frequent than in the past. I go from air conditioned home, to air conditioned car, to air conditioned workplace and the pain I have is getting unbearable. I will have to learn to adjust things to get more comfortable in all I do now! I’m thinking of moving to a drier area so I won’t be in so much pain any longer. Good luck in your decision to move to TN or not!
I found Nashville area to be a lot easier on my bones vs Florida or the North.
It really isn’t that bad. But you do have your days.
