The purpose of this group is to foster a sense of community, support, and connection for families impacted by juvenile arthritis. Through a mix of online presentations and in-person family events, we aim to provide meaningful opportunities to learn, connect, and grow together. Most importantly, we want you to know that you are not alone- you are part of a larger, compassionate community that understands and stands with you.
All JA families are invited to join and find support. Our primary focus for in-person events is supporting families in the North Dallas area.

Hi everyone!
We are really excited to be here. Our youngest daughter, Mia, just recently got diagnosed with JIA, so it has been a little overwhelming as most of you might know. We're looking to connect with other families that have gone, or are still going through this, willing to share their experiences, tips, and tricks. Mia is 20 months old and LOVES to dance, whenever there's music playing, she's dancing. Gianna is her older sister, about to turn 5 at the end of April. My name is Gianella and my husband is Eric. We are just starting this journey and would love to hear from everyone here!
Hello and welcome to the group!
I'm the group facilitator and started the group in hopes to connect with and support other parents going through the same thing. I've been trying to host meetings every other month to connect and would love for you to attend one! Would you rather virtual or in person? In the meantime, I'll send you an email.

Hello, has any one here visited Mexico for any medical treatment? Trying to find out how people go and research about their target doctor/clinic. I would love to talk to a few people who have experienced the trip and get their opinions. Thanks!
Hello!
I personally haven't as we are lucky enough to have pediatric rheumatologists nearby. I'd be happy to have this as part of the discount next meeting though. Would virtual or in person be easier?

Hey Everyone!
I wanted to let you know about another JA Connect Group. They meet virtually each month and have great information each time! It's called the Raising a Child with JA Connect Group and they have a meeting tomorrow 2/17 at 7CST about transitioning children to independence. If you join the group, you'll be able to see all of their meetings!
