Live Yes! Connect Groups offer local connections, education and empowerment. Adults living with arthritis from our local community come together for professional- and volunteer-led sessions on a variety of topics, as well as fun group activities.
We offer a place of understanding and encouragement for both people living with arthritis and their loved ones. Group participants become self-advocates, develop self-management skills and learn how to not just survive life with arthritis but to thrive.

I'm not sure that my email went through. I originally joined this group when I brought my sister to DC after several operations. She, unfortuantely, caught covid 2 years ago at her assisted living place in DC and passed away. Please remove me from this group. You do good things and hope you continue.
Jane
BTW - I cannot respond to emails sent on the message group. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 703-473-3966.
Jane
So sorry to hear about your sister Martha.

Hi all! My name is Alana and I just moved to the DC metro area. I am looking to join this group for support as I was newly diagnosed about a month ago and
I wanted to connect with others who understand. Please let me know when the group meets, if it is virtual/in person, and the details. Thanks so much!
Hi Lisa!
thanks for letting me know! I appreciate it. Just want to know when the meetings are and the dates /times and methods of meeting! If you could email me to keep me in the loop that would be awesome. My email [email protected] Thank you :) I deeply appreciate it!
Hi Alana,
Apolgies for the delay in response. Just got back from overseas. I tried to respond from there, but it would not go through. Welcome to the DC area! We can help you navigate all the changes - your doctors are the best/final information, but we can certainly provide support and assistance. The group meets a minimum of quarterly, but would like to do more next year. Our meetings are a mix of virtual and in person. I should have a meeting notice up next week for a virtual meeting.
Lisa
I am trying to find the email for the zoom link for today's meeting? I do not see it.
I did not receive the zoom meeting link for July 11th meeting???
We were notified about the Feb event but no follow-up with details. Will we get notigied in the future? Also, my experience is that if this is a group for people with RA, 10:30 am is not an ideal time as mornings are difficult before taking meds. This is very early for us and is very difficult to attend. Any chance of any others at later time in the day?

Hi, is this group active?
Yes we are active! We have set up our first meeting on the new site for a luncheon on November 2. Hope to see you there!
