We will try an in person meeting for the first time since the Pandemic! We will gather outside the West Entrance of Woodland Park Zoo at 10:30 on Sunday, September 7 and enter the zoo together. The penguins are right there! Then we will walk a short distance (about a city block) to the 1899 and gather at a table and chairs and socialize for a bit. There is food and beverage available inside.This is the "official" meeting part. We will then plan which parts of the zoo we would like explore either individually as long as you like (the zoo will close at 4:00 PM) or as a group. Rain or shine! There are indoor exhibits and covered spaces outside. As a volunteer, I am able to get half price tickets for ten of us if we enter as a group, which is why we will meet outside the West entrance at 10:30. Seniors are even less with a Gold Card and I have two of those to lend to qualified seniors. If cost is prohibitive, please contact me and we will work something out.
